Now Registering September
Our preschool philosophy is about letting children develop at their own pace and to the fullest of their ability. We believe that by having choice in play, they learn and grow in their own unique way. Through play children are developing important skills, which lay the foundations for reading, writing and mathematics, problem-solving and decision-making, social and emotional growth and many other skills needed throughout their lives. We believe that parent involvement in preschool fosters a childs sense of self-worth and security, and strengthens parenting skills. As the parents and supervisor work together to build trust and confidence in the children, a strong future is gained for your child and our community at large.

Our preschool curriculum is developed by the Preschool ECE Teacher with regular input and feedback from the parent team. The curriculum is a child-centered program that focuses on preschool activities, such as pre-literacy skills, science, mathematics, music, art, movement, story-telling, cooking, nature, dramatic play and monthly field trips. Our program emphasizes individual and small group learning experiences, which build the foundation skills and knowledge needed by our children to make a successful transition into the school system. We offer 3 Year Old and 4 Year Old classes that ensure age appropriate learning focus on physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. The Happy Hours Preschool program strongly emphasizes outdoor play, the importance of family, and interaction in the community. Monthly field trips, family days and activities that include siblings, and participation in community events are a few of the ways that we make this part of our program a reality for our children.
