About Us

In 1963, some local mothers got together and formed a playgroup that quickly outgrew their homes. The idea of a preschool began when the mother’s decided they wanted to create an environment in which their children could continue learning through play and they could maintain their parent involvement.
They discovered the Council of Parent Participation Preschools and formed their own preschool in 1965. They named it, hired a teacher and secured a location, originally in the West Langley Community Hall, and then more permanently at St. Andrew’s Church in Fort Langley in 1972.
So Happy Hours Preschool was born. The first Parent Participation Preschool in the area!
Now, 40+years later we are in a new home. We are now located in the Fort Langley Lions Hall. We are thrilled to remain a part of the Fort Langley community and excited to meet new families and parents that join our Happy Hours Parent Participation Pre-school Family.

Located at 88th and Glover rd in Fort Langley(Lions Hall) we have a great playground as well as large indoor play, craft, snack areas.
